Day 18 – Rely on the Spirit

“I came to you in weakness—timid and trembling. And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:3-5 NLT

The same power that raised Jesus from the grave lives in you! Remember that you are never alone. The God of creation has given you the full measure of His Spirit to empower you, to comfort you, and to lead you.

  • Ask God to help you surrender yourself daily to the Holy Spirit.
  • Pray that the Holy Spirit would soften the hearts of the people on your list.
  • Ask God to fill you with His Spirit daily.

“Today I will…”

Intentionally focus on the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. I will pause throughout my day to ask for His guidance and wisdom.
