Day 11 – Be Ready

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.”
1 Peter 3:15-16 NIV

It’s okay to not know the answer to every question. The foundation of your faith should not depend on whether or not you can debate any argument against the Bible. The foundation of our faith is based on what Jesus already did by dying on the cross and rising from the dead. Your salvation story is simple but powerful. And God will use it to change others’ lives if you’re ready to share it.

  • Ask God to always help you to be ready to share your story at any time.
  • Pray to be confident, respectful and gentle as you share your story.

“Today I will…”

Look for ways to better prepare myself to share my faith.
